This StarWind Virtual SAN HCI solution node has up to 48 processor cores, up to 1.5TB memory and up to 176TB raw data space in RAID 5 (with a two-node configuration up to 176TB raw usable data space). The node is based on Supermicro Ultra server SYS-2029U-E1CR25M. It has expander backplane supporting 24 hot-swap SSD drives on front panel and 2 hot-swap SSD drives on rear panel (OS drives) with Broadcom 3908 SAS 12Gb/s RAID controller card what has 8GB cache and supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. On board dual 25Gb/s Mellanox ConnectX-4 Lx EN (2x SPF28) and dedicated RJ45 port for IPMI 2.0 remote management with KVM and remote virtual media mount. Includes license key for DataCenter Management Package. The power supplies energy efficiency is 80 PLUS Titanium Level. The server will be delivered with a rackmount rail kit.
