The Supermicro GPU server SYS-420GP-TNR is with direct-attached backplane supporting 24 hot-swap drives, natively supports 8 SATA and 8 NVMe drives. With optional SAS controller cards are supported up to 16 SATA/SAS drives. Supports up to 8 GPUs, also Nvidia A100. Dual Root Topology - the two CPUs communicate with GPUs to provide balanced performance & higher CPU to GPU communication (HPC applications). On board dual 1Gb/s Intel Ethernet Controller I350 (2x RJ45) and dedicated RJ45 port for IPMI 2.0 remote management with KVM and remote virtual media mount. The power supplies energy efficiency is 80 PLUS Titanium Level. The server will be delivered with a rackmount rail kit.

This model has been validated by NVIDIA as NVIDIA-Certified System and is compatible with VMware ESXi, Citrix Hypervisor, Microsoft Windows Server 2019 & 2022 and certified for Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Linux.
