Seagate Exos PROTECT Advanced Storage Array

A petabyte-scale, rack-mounted block storage system including self-healing technology, advanced data protection and software value. This Seagate Exos PROTECT EP2U12 storage server supporting 12 hot-swap SAS drives. Expandable with Seagate Exos SCALE EX2U12 expansion enclosures for a total of 120 drives. Data protection - Seagate ADAPT and RAID levels supported: 0, 1, 5, 6, 10. The system uses two hot-swappable Seagate 4006 VELOSCT controllers. Quad Ethernet 10Gb/s RJ45 (auto-negotiation to 1Gb/s) ports and dedicated 1x RJ45 ports for management per controller. The power supplies energy efficiency are 80 PLUS Platinum Level. To maintain quality and integrity, configure max two different disk sizes in the same system. Do not configure SED or FIPS drives together with non-SED or non-FIPS drives.
